It is my good fortune to be the friend of the painter Edward B. Gordon. He is not only a masterful artist. Edward's smaller works, which he posts daily, hold the greater art of finding beauty in the moment.

Edward details the way he sketched this series of paintings on location in a Berlin train station in this post.
Edward B. Gordon was visited last Friday by producer Dutch Rall and the film team of the Emmy Award winning iN Context, the KLRU Austin PBS program about "The design behind things strange and beautiful." The episode, when completed, will feature Edward painting in his Berlin studio. I included a video of a previous iN Context installment in my post about Isamu Nogucchi.
Here is a slide show Edward shared with me of the visit.
That's Edward in the dark V-necked sweater. I can't wait to see the finished piece. When KLRU makes the episode available on YouTube, I will post it to StoryCulture.
